High-pressure cleaner

The high-pressure generator, with a pressure of up to 120 bar, is designed to dislodge soiling using high mechanical force. It uses water compressed by a piston motor, released via a lance. The pressure can be adjusted, with a medium pressure (10-20 bar) suitable for pre-washing, saving water compared to high pressure. Although high pressure is effective, it can displace soils without removing them, a risk avoided by using medium pressure.

How it works

The high-pressure cleaner (up to 120 bar) is used to create the force needed to remove a large proportion of the dirt from surfaces. The greater the energy required to remove the dirt, the greater the mechanical effect. The range of pressures that can be used is wide and will be adapted to each situation. The water supplied to the device is compressed by a piston motor and then released in the direction of the nozzle as soon as the button on the nozzle is pressed.
Medium pressure (10-20 bars) is suitable for pre-washing, using less water than high pressure (30 to 40 litres/minute).

Mode of application

A high-pressure cleaner not only offers excellent cleaning power, but also saves water: 400 to 600 litres/hour compared with 3500 litres for a sprinkler system. The potential savings are even greater if the water pressure speeds up the work. The danger of high pressure is that it displaces the dirt before it can be removed. Using medium pressure avoids this.
